The performative mode is used by placing my personal emotions, experiences, and inner thoughts at the centre of the narrative. The documentary explores my relationship with deadlifts as a space for mental clarity, emotional release, and self-determined pain.

I'm Yash Atul Mavlankar, a film student based in London, currently studying Film Production at SAE Institute. I'm a filmmaker and editor with a deep love for visual storytelling, especially when it comes to crafting emotionally charged narratives and high-impact edits.
